During the renovation of their downtown Philadelphia headquarters, IMS became an integral member of the design and integration team, providing custom solutions for every technology standpoint, from large and small conference rooms to multiple training and video conferencing rooms to a 40−seat executive boardroom with full environmental controls.
From this partnership lasting over a decade, we have developed a thorough understanding of IBC’s company culture and business goals. This allows us to efficiently and accurately design systems which will integrate fully into all other audio/visual technology in the building and maintain a strict standard of graphic interfaces, increasing ease of use and delivering high rates of adoption.
This has also built strong relationships with key players in IBC’s organization and external vendors, such as architects, general contractors, IT staff and facilities managers, all of whom are integral to the successful installation of any technology.
For the extensive renovation of the Market Street Lobby, IMS designed and installed two 12x7-foot Planar LCD walls consisting of 9 modules for a resolution of 5760 x 3240 with independent content processing hardware. IMS also assisted in the updating of two in-house editing suites which were used to create custom content for the lobby screens as well as other displays across the entire facility.
Since it’s completion, the building has won the prestigious TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) Award from the Philadelphia Building Owners and Managers Association, with the lobby specifically being named Best Renovation of the Year.
