InfoComm 2025 delivered another impactful year of innovation, insights, and inspiration for IMS. From next-generation hardware demos to cutting-edge software features and visionary roadmap discussions, the show offered an impressive range of advancements across the AV industry.
The topics and themes that stood out the most to us this year are:
Spatial sound products, multi-cam platforms, and emerging 3D capabilities are reshaping the AV landscape. Spatial audio delivers immersive, directional sound; multi-camera systems offer intelligent framing and dynamic views; and 3D technologies introduce new ways to present content with depth and realism. Together, they elevate the modern meeting and presentation experience to a new standard of engagement.
COB (Chip On Board) LED Video Walls and All-in-One systems are reshaping large-format display solutions. COB brings finer pixel pitch, improved durability, protective surface layers, and seamless visuals, making it ideal for high-traffic, high-impact spaces. Meanwhile, All-in-One systems simplify deployment by integrating processing, audio, and control into a single streamlined unit. As seen at InfoComm 2025, these innovations are accelerating installation timelines and raising the bar for image quality and system efficiency.
Room analytics is becoming a critical component in modern AV deployments. Companies like Logitech now offer AI-driven people counting, Carousel integrates scheduling and signage insights, and Crestron’s XIO cloud provides enterprise-wide analytics for room usage and performance. As hybrid work continues to evolve, the demand for actionable space data is accelerating, driving the smart workplace market toward a projected $90 billion valuation by 2030.
The conferencing audio landscape has seen significant innovation, led by manufacturers like Sennheiser and Shure. Modern solutions now feature automatic room calibration, intelligent beamforming microphones, and pre-configured DSP presets that significantly reduce commissioning time. These advancements simplify deployment and ensure high-quality, consistent audio in various room types—supporting the demands of hybrid work and scalable enterprise AV strategies.
We saw a lot of new products at InfoComm and have detailed information on dozens of them. Our top 6 picks based on cost efficiency, ease of integration, cutting-edge technology, and overall “WOW” factor for end-users are:
Our team said: "Shure announced and showed off their new ANX4 platform. While it seems unassuming, this is the first 24-channel wireless receiver in a SINGLE RACK SPACE. This allows for so much more space availability in racks, eliminating multiple RUs of 4-channel systems and antenna distro amplifies. This receiver handles 16 channels of their AXIENT audio, or 24 channels of ULXD. Channels are added via licenses, which on initial reaction might stray designers away, but actually allows for future proofing systems by allowing you to add channels later without adding hardware or adjusting rack equipment locations."
Our team said: "As part of Shure’s Microflex neXt announcement, the MXWNDX charging stations were shown off as part of that ecosystem. The most integral part of these devices, though, is the integration of a second NIC on the charging station, acting as a passthrough to allow for daisy-chaining charging stations. This development helps with installation and deployment challenges that the older MXWNCS charging stations could not provide, including fewer cable infrastructure pulls and fewer copper switchports being utilized on network switches."
Our team said: "Philips showed off their foldable and highly portable 135” DvLED Chip on Board display on an adjustable portable stand. With the beneficial capabilities of a folding width and height adjustable stand, the 135” can become super compact to fit through just about any doorway and elevator, making this product of major importance for those who need to be able to utilize a large format screen in multiple locations. Easy assembly and installation tie the knot on this product!"
Our team said: "Dten was showing off their new 'Dten Bar', a horizontal and vertical mounted camera solution. This product offers a clean and fantastic option for camera/soundbars being integrated in dual display projects, allowing it to be mounted between both displays vertically. The center of the camera falls at a much more proper “eye level” for far-end users. When muting video in a call, a true privacy bezel flips over the top of the camera, reassuring the end-user that they cannot be seen. An adjustable cover can also be purchased and placed on top of the sound bar, providing an even sleeker look to a finished installation."
Our team said: "We saw the concept of this product last year at InfoComm 2024, and loved seeing it in action this year! The USB-C extender kit delivers Peripherals (USB 2.0), Display Alt-Mode, and power to a BYOD system over a single line of Cat6A. Using the SDVOE chipset in the Transmitter and Receiver, this allows for a 10gb high-bandwidth transfer between both products."
Our team said: "SnapAV showcased their speaker and lighting combo kit this year, with the Episode Radiance line with built-in speakers and lighting packed into one product. Allowing for multiple configurations, this product can be placed indoors or outdoors (IP66 rating), can be hung from the ceiling, mounted on the ground, wall mounted, and even paired up with another speaker to create a really slick sconce."
