According to a recent survey by Commercial Integrator, video walls are no longer limited to retail and entertainment venues, and are increasingly being adopted by corporations, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities. Highlights from the survey include:

The popularity of video walls has brought about a new challenge for integrators: how to design solutions that stand out. Leyard and Planar VP of product marketing Steve Seminario says there is an increasing number of “unique” installations. “In corporate lobbies, it’s more common to see video walls that continue seamlessly around outside corners, or video walls that frame doorways to offer a unique architectural element more than just a video wall,” he says. “In applications such as on-air broadcast, set designers are creatively incorporating video walls that serve as the set, whether wrapping or curving to enhance the space.”
