The show floor hasn't yet opened at InfoComm 2014 but there is already buzz about one of the vendors.
Microsoft will be exhibiting at the show this year. With Unified Communications and Collaboration being one of this years hottest topics, it is only natural that Microsoft would make their presence known. Microsoft Lync is one of their flagship products and is the cornerstone of many corporate UCC strategies. It's ability to provide voice, video, messaging and presence on the desktop or a mobile device makes it a formidable solution that has been a challenge for many traditional integrators.
Microsoft is a Platinum sponsor at this year's event alongside traditional industry powerhouses such as Crestron. Their logo is predominantly displayed in the concourse and common areas outside the show floor which opens tomorrow and each attendee is receiving a Microsoft show bag with their logo.
What will they have on display in their booth this year? Lync will be an absolute certainty. Their Perceptive Pixel interactive touch displays are another likely option. The only question there is whether Microsoft will have enough of them as they have been ordered at astounding rates.
What else will they display at their booth? Is their a new product being introduced? We will be stopping by their booth first thing Wednesday morning and will have an update for you shortly!
