IMS Technology Services, an award-winning provider of event staging and systems integration solutions, is pleased to announce the expansion of our team with several promotions and new hires:
“After successfully delivering thousands of virtual events over the past 12 months, we are thrilled to be working on hybrid and live meetings and events again. To ensure that we continue to exceed client expectations for all types of events – virtual, hybrid, and live – we are investing in and positioning our team for success, and these personnel changes are only the beginning.” said Paul Wedesky, CMP, C.A.S.E., chief operating officer for IMS. “We are uniquely positioned in our industry as one company with three different event solutions to offer the flexibility clients need to create the right mix of event type, features and elements that best suit their organization.”
Mike Schisler, the newest senior project manager at IMS, has fourteen years of experience in the video and event production industries. After graduating from Penn State with a B.A. degree in Telecommunications he spent years working in the video production industry in California. He worked on projects that have been featured on the Discovery and Military Channels as well as documentaries and music videos. These experiences exposed him to all aspects of the production process. Realizing how much he enjoyed the live aspect of event production, he pivoted and now has over ten years of proven professional experience managing and producing live events throughout the country. “I am passionate about making clients comfortable and confident during the production process so that we can execute engaging and successful events. I am looking forward to helping IMS clients make the transition from virtual back to hybrid and live events,” Schisler commented.
Chris Kissel, IMS national account manager, has twelve years of experience in the event production industry. After graduating from Drexel University with a B.S. degree in Music Industry: Technology, he has spent most of his career working in luxury hotels throughout the Philadelphia area. Though specializing in audio, he has experience with everything from video and graphics operation to networking and scenic and set-building responsibilities. Realizing he enjoyed connecting with people and the planning process of events much more than wrapping cables, Kissel moved his focus to event sales. Kissel says “my passion is bringing events to life. I love seeing an event go from an initial idea to a fully realized production.”
