AQAV (www.aqav.org) is a nonprofit consortium dedicated to setting the standard for quality integrators and how they differentiate themselves in the marketplace.  Our principal (John Renninger), installation manager (Ed Easley) and operations manager (Mike Shinn) first started talking about the group a little over a year ago, setting a goal to be AQAV certified.  In December, our Kramer representative called to tell us that they had become an exclusive sponsor for AQAV and they wanted us to enroll.  We jumped at the chance and Systems Engineer Aaron Reeves got certified at the next available opportunity.

This past week at Infocomm, Ed came out to Vegas to take part in the AQAV Certified Quality Technician (System Commissioning) coursework and test.  While he was concerned about how he did because of how complex and difficult the test was, the IMS InfoComm team watched proudly as Ed accepted his passing certification at a ceremony Thursday evening.  Ed's certification means that IMS has become the very first fully certified AQAV company in the Philadelphia marketplace.  This supports our company vision of standing for quality in the marketplace and for our customers.
