Each spring, 400+ marketing executives from around the country attend the Monetate Summit in Philadelphia to learn the latest methods and e-marketing technologies for interacting, engaging and reaching customers. Presenters include a lineup of premier industry thought-leaders and the summit is designed for peer interaction and sharing of best practices to elevate marketing to new heights.
To create a sense of community and networking/interactivity while addressing some of the technology concerns from previous years.
In a logistically difficult space, the event team was limited with what technology they were able to utilize. Monetate desired a cutting-edge scenic design that was sleek and high tech, reflecting their brand and nature of their business, but were limited to a traditional two screen set.
Aside from this challenge, there was a lot of internal turnover within both Monetate and the third-party event planning company that was hired to coordinate the event.
IMS drove home the theme for 2014 by instilling a sense of community among Monetate clients by enhancing the set to support an environment that encourages high-energy networking.
Using white drape and creating different lighting environments, IMS was able to create an impactful scene and keep attendees engaged.
A dedicated core production team, including a National Account Manager, Senior Production Manager and Technical Director, coordinated with Monetate staff from start to finish, providing a level of stability and consistency that proved to be extremely beneficial among so many transitions.
Feedback from the Monetate executive staff and attendees alike was overall very positive. We are working together to help with site selection to ensure it is a space conducive to all the technology that they desire in the future.
