About 500 members attend the bi-annual ECOG-ACRIN Group Meetings to discuss the results of cancer related clinical trials toward the growth and development of patient treatment and scientific advancements. During their first combined meeting, the leadership of ECOG and ACRIN recognized the complementary scientific programs and expertise of the two groups and reiterated a shared commitment to involve patients and advocates in their research efforts and to address critical issues related to underserved populations and rare cancer. Together, they work toward the common goal of controlling, effectively treating, and ultimately curing cancer.
