Project Synopsis

Since 1991, Chatham Financial has been providing companies access to hedging sophistication typically only found at the largest banks. As an independent risk management advisor, Chatham offers expertise to assist companies in determining and executing appropriate hedging strategies at the best possible prices and terms. Chatham’s approach to global communications to the market and internal communications is extremely important. Chatham created initiatives to expand their corporate space to meet their global conferencing needs and leverage their existing business model to keep pace with much larger NYC based companies. Chatham chose IMS to understand their needs and present ideas about how AV systems could help them gain an edge. IMS, along with BHH Architects collaborated to complete the Design Build of six (6) multi-use conference rooms including a 50 seat video conference and training room. Based on the success and overwhelming feedback by end-users about the systems, IMS was chosen again to continue the collaborative effort and successfully complete the Design Build of eight (8) multi-use conference rooms, including a 120 seat divisible video conference and presentation room.

IMS Solution

IMS developed both SD and HD rooms that can be combined for one large Firm-wide conference or split for global meetings. IMS was able use existing Chatham Video Conference equipment which complimented the SD system design and ultimately provided cost savings.

Distance Learning is also a requirement for Chatham so this room (pictured above, top right), as with all rooms, required video conferencing and easy to use control devices with an intuitive LCD control touch panel.

Smaller meetings are executed in Integrated HD VTC rooms (pictured above, bottom left) featuring Dual Monitor Configuration for the transfer of video and graphics as well as multi-point video calls. All communications are easily accomplished with wireless touch panel control, integrated video and audio and optimized furniture.

IMS also designed systems for divisible meeting rooms (pictured above, top left), each with Dual Front Projection for presentations and video teleconference communications (VTC).

Chatham has the ability to remotely manage and control all of the rooms over their LAN, which provides control and visibility into the proper use of their AV systems.
