Since 2009 IMS has had a successful relationship with the Bank of Tokyo – Mitsubishi at its US Headquarters.  IMS continues to provide full Audio Visual systems design, integration and ongoing support contracts for multiple types of systems on multiple floors within the 54 story high-rise located in uptown Manhattan.

The Challenge

Develop AV systems for multi-use conference and meeting spaces over a phased re-stacking project scope spanning 18 months, while maintaining strict consistency in the technology specifications, expenditure, and user experience.

43^rd, 12^th, 14^th, 10^th, 15^th Floors Internal Financial News TV Network over CAT6 distribution.

The HD Cable TV signal for 8 designated HDTV channels is being distributed from centralized IDF’s to more than sixty HD televisions. These TVs are in high visibility work stations, department centers and break rooms. The bank deems it critical for its employees to be up to the minute on the latest global financial news. IMS presented multiple solutions that would also allow for future video over CAT6 expansion when needed. Ultimately, based on IMS’s discrete engineering workflow that involves strict communication with field technicians, IMS was able to adjust and improve the design mid-project and use the same infrastructure to save tens of thousands of dollars in equipment and installation costs.
