Founded in 1871 as an institute for teacher preparation, West Chester University (WCU) is a comprehensive public institution, offering more than 118 undergraduate, 80+ graduate programs and 4 doctoral programs in more than 50 fields of study. Serving more than 17,000 students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, West Chester University has earned a national reputation for excellence, value and student success.

Like many universities in 2020, WCU needed to adapt to a virtual education model. The University did not want to simply rely on built-in laptop audio and video, and instead sought to design a simple-to-use web conferencing solution for classrooms and meeting spaces to provide an online experience that reflects the high quality of education students have come to expect.
