First Job: Cutting grass for my neighbors. Taught me the value of hard work and how a job well done can lead to more jobs.
First “Real” Job: Sprint PCS-Outside Sales Representative
Essential Business Philosophy: Maintain trust and integrity and everything will work out as it should.
Best way to keep a competitive edge: Out-hustle the competition and make overcoming challenges the standard, not the exception.
Yardstick of success: Maintaining a high client retention rating while gaining new clients and keeping their satisfaction at a high level.
Goal yet to be achieved: Integrating operations and service into a cohesive unit that has talent, opportunities, jobs, and contracts flow freely between them.
Best Decision: Making the transition from IT to AV.
Worst Decision: Allowing myself to be sweet talked by a competitor into leaving a great job and thinking the grass would actually be greener.
Toughest Decision: : Any time you have to part ways with a team member for any reason. It’s just never easy for me.
Mentor: My father. He taught us that you do the right thing, even when it is the more difficult path, for no other reason than it is the right thing to do and don’t look for a pat on the back for doing it.
